iLok Cloud (internet access required): Click the File menu and select Open Cloud Session. iLok USB stick: Click the Available tab, then drag and drop the VSL license into the iLok icon. Launch iLok License Manager, then follow the steps below that apply to you. Copy and paste the registration code you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer into the Product Registration field, then click Register. Enter your iLok User ID in the iLok Account field, then click Submit. Go to your VSL account homepage and click MyProducts, located on the left side of the page. Once the registration code is entered on the website, the license will be transferred to iLok for you to register via iLok License Manager. Once you’ve created an iLok account, the next step is to register the software you purchased on the website. Optional: connect an iLok and when prompted, click Yes to register it to your account.Ĭlick the image to download iLok License Manager. Launch the iLok License Manager app and sign in to your account. 
Download and install the iLok License Manager. Open the iLok Account Activation email and click on the verification link. 
Take note of your User ID and password, as both are case-sensitive.

If you already have an account, skip these steps and continue to register the software. If you don’t already have an iLok account, you’ll need to create one and install the iLok License Manager app. That means to use it, you will need to connect its iLok license to the iLok Cloud or an iLok USB stick.
